Our goal is to create a reliable and innovative solution that best fits your needs in terms of workflow, production goals, available space and budget. All our installations are the result of an open and intensive collaboration between our customers and our project team. We listen to understand, look at the pros and cons, evaluate different scenarios, discuss and rank the best alternatives, design the final solution and deliver the selected configuration.
Are you looking for a new machine or a complete system? Are you planning to add automation to increase productivity? You are consolidating your operations and need to relocate and optimize your press deliveries? You need a rebuild plan to extend the life of your existing equipment? Talk to us about your next post press project – together we can find and implement a reliable and efficient solution.
For more than 40 years RIMA has been building stackers - for the bindery and the pressroom. After moving production to Georgia, RIMA Atlanta focuses on bindery stackers and packaging stackers for the carton and envelope industry, while IN-LOG | GÄMMERLER supplies the press stackers.
RS 11 bindery stacker – entry level stacker for smaller & slower bindery lines
RS 10 bindery stacker – as standard or high-speed version for high-end bindery lines
high-speed, servo-driven, up to 80 mm product thickness
high-speed, servo-driven, with extra wide body (up to 16*24”)
non-compensating stacker for in-line finishing lines
optionally with end-of-line automation ( palletizing, filling of trays, ...)
high-speed, servo-driven
In the future, envelopes and mailing bags will be made of paper and cardboard, replacing the older plastic bags. Our stackers will safely and efficiently collect, count and compensate the envelopes and pockets, and deliver stable bundles that can be safely processed downstream.
To further reduce manual labor, we suggest automating the manual pile down process. Closed coupled with the stacker we can band (optionally strap) the bundles to improve stability and “ERIC”, our high-performance mini-robot will automatically and safely palletize the stacks. For fully automated pallet handling a pallet dispenser and automatic pallet transportation can be added – space and requirements will define the final configuration.
Press finished retail work, WIP for the bindery – different products require different handling behind the press. With a complete product range, RIMA Atlanta can meet almost any requirement. In addition, as a solution provider with a strong technical background and the support of the Merten Group, we have the resources and experience to design special solutions as well.
