We need a RIMA – what could better describe the success of RIMA and its bindery stackers. RIMA was founded in 1976 and sold its first machine this same year. RIMA quickly became the standard for bindery stackers behind saddle stitchers, perfect binders, inserting and packaging machines. With more than 7.000 bindery stackers and more than 10.000 stackers in total RIMA has the by far biggest installed base. Today RIMA is not only the leading supplier of bindery stackers but also offers highly efficient stacking solutions for cartons & envelopes and for mailing operations behind in-line finishing lines.

For more than 40 years Gammerler has been shaping the world of postpress, especially in the field of conveying, trimming and stacking. The FS260 conveyor system, the RS 114/134/164 trimming lines and the KL 540/560 compensating stackers were the standard in many printing plants. With the SH700 log stacker and the PR460/480 robots, Gämmerler has built up a complete product portfolio. In 2021 the Merten Group took over Gämmerler – a strong commitment to our market.
IN-LOG was established in 2001 as Business Unit Post Press at Merten Group. The focus for direct projects has been in Europe, where IN-LOG has realized highly efficient complete systems behind the fastest and largest presses, including the latest 96p presses. In addition, IN-LOG has supplied postpress technology under OEM conditions to several other suppliers, including Ferag and Gämmerler. Today, IN-LOG | GÄMMERLER is the leading manufacturer for compensating stackers.

Systems Technology was formed in 2000 by John St. John, with his buy-out of the Baldwin Stobb division of Baldwin Technology. It has since then been a well-respected premier supplier of auxiliary press and bindery material handling equipment including Stackers, for pressroom & bindery, semi-automatic stacker bundlers, drum-stackers and SuperFeeder Hopper Loaders for the entire range of bindery finishing equipment. For more than 20 years STI successfully served the global market for printers and OEM press & bindery equipment manufacturers.
